And Guess Who Feels a Right Muppet.

My computer was taken into the shop on thursday, and the guy found out what was wrong with it.  It seems that the USB cable used to connect my ipod to the pc had come out slightly and was preventing it booting up.  Yes, I feel a total prat.

But great news!  My contract at work has been extended!  So I will have job aftre the 31st December.  *happy dance*.  Celebrated by getting myself a shiny new Nokia 6120 mobile phone, on the 3 network.   I have been wanting a contract phone for a while, but as I had no job, I had to stick with pay as you go.  But no more!  Anyway, if anyone wants my mobile number (people I know that is!), just send me a message and I’ll give you it.  My boss at work, Sean, bought us all pizza to celebrate too, which was nice.

Friday night we had a works night out too, which was also fun.  Got very, very drunk, but didn’t do anything TOO disgraceful.  Unlike half the other people I work with ^^  Nah, apparantly they were very well behaved, I ended up going home a lot earlier though as I drank a little too much too quickly, so figured I should get from lancaster to morecambe whilst I was still in a fit state to do so.  Plus I had work the nezt day, and put it this way, I was the only one that wasn’t either massively hungover or still drunk.  Lucky me!

What, already?!?!

Well, that didn’t take long.  The nice shiny pc that has been my pride and joy for just under a month decided to stop working last night.  Got to the windows loading screen, then nothing.  Scott ran a few diagnostic programs on it and it seems the memory has gone belly up.  So its back to the shop today for it.  I hope its easy to fix, I have some episodes of an anime I like all lined up to watch, and I don’t want to lose them.

I have decided to treat myself art wise.  One of my favourite artists on DA is enolianslave (not as kinky as it may sound), and recently she has started taking commissions.  Now, why do I like her work?  Easy, she is doing a really spiffy TMNT comic, and I love her style.  So for a bargain price of £40, she is doing me a picture based on the two loves of my life at this moment in time… World of Warcraft (hey, I lasted an entire MONTH without playing it!) and TMNT.  Should be fun, watch this space and I will post it when its finished.

 Something seems to have gone a little wrong at work, and we are hoping our boss can get to the bottom of it and get it sorted.  The volume of calls we are receiving has gone right down, literally we are getting 3 or 4 calls an hour, and most of them are transfers to other departments.  Seems the call routing is being a little off today.  And yesterday.  I hope it gets fixed as its really making the day drag on and on and on.  Its tempting to sneak onto websites when its so quiet but thats a big no no.  But its so hard to resist!!!

Scott’s New Toy.

We got a brand spanking new computer today!  Scott spilled coffee on his old one in one of his more brilliant moments, so we claimed on our insurance.  The old one was taken away to see if it could be repaired, but it was buggered (to put it politely), so for £60 excess we were given a brand spanking new one.  Its slightly better than the old one, and has Vista installed on it, so Scott is currently playing around with it and raving about how great his new toy is.  Why does HE always get the cool new stuff…

Can’t complain though,  it keeps him quiet and happy, and that makes my life easier.  I got a book on Anatomy for artists and some new trousers and two new tops from Hitchens.  I have bloody awful PMT and stomach cramps right now though, so I am a little grumpy. Or grumpier.

Not taking my CBT tomorrow after all, am going to wait a few weeks and go out and practice in a field somewhere.  My leg was hurting so much I figured giving it a little longer to heal was a good thing too.  The bruises are a nice shade of green and yellow right now, but it changes daily so cant help but wonder what color they will be next!

I introduced Scott to the joys of Tom Baker as Dr Who last night,  and he loves it.  We watched The Nightmare of Eden.
