Its been a quiet weekend really. On a money saving kick me and Graham decided to not really do much. Didn’t bother me, I have been addicted to Dragon Age: Origins on the X Box 360 anyway, though I am sure he isn’t amused by it.
He did surprise me by recognising the voice of Kate Mulgrew for one of the characters, though he said “That sounds like that Voyager woman doesn’t it?”
However we did end up going to GB Antiques in Lancaster, where I ended up buying a whole bunch of fantasy novels and a piece of carnival glass, but Graham managed get a total bargain. To me it looks like the ticket described it, a “large carved wooden thing” but its actually a Woomera, an aboriginal austrailian spear thrower a bit like this:
Paid a fiver for it, and it looks like he might be able to make a good profit on it. Fingers crossed! Would be nice if he did, with christmas coming.
Then that night we went for dinner at Grahams parents. Which always makes me nervous, as last New Years Eve I got a little tipsy there, though they claim to have never noticed. Well, this time I had a few vodkas, but need not have worried. Grahams dad had a lot more than me! It was a good night though, a lot of fun.
